Day 2: RECAP

ZUMBA!!!! Has anyone done it? If not you need to! It is fun, sexy, and you don't have to have any dancing skills to do it! Zumba with Amanda on Tuesday night at Lords Gym=Awesome! I felt my abs tonight..they said HELLO! So if you have not tried Zumba before please do. It is a super fun way to lose weight and get your cardio in and it is for all shapes, sizes, and ages. Zumba does not discriminate:)

            So small recap of my day besides the amazing Zumba...snacked alot today because I was so bored...having alot of days off in a row will do that to you (the one advantage and disadvantage of being a nurse). I did snack on fruits and veggies only though so I think I am still in the clear. For dinner I tried my hand at cooking a healthy spaghetti. It turned out AMAZING if I do say so myself. No added salt, 99% lean meat, fresh garlic, fresh tomato, onion, olive oil, and it cooked for 5 hours. Put that over 100% whole wheat pasta! YUM YUM!! Now I am unwinding with some Herbal tea (african honeybush, mandarin and orange with rose petals and valerian root) Hopefully I will get a good night rest for my 12+hour day tomorrow.

         What healthy snacks do you snack on when you get the intense GOT TO EAT craving/feeling?
Do you sometimes feel like you want to eat even though you know you are already full? WHY IS THAT? it is so frustrating for me and what I probably struggle with the most!

   I did buy a book today recommended by one of my close friends...she said I needed my Big Girl Panties on to read it! It is called Skinny B*tch. I am looking forward to reading it and telling you guys about it. I put a link in the blog in case you guys are interested in getting one too! I ordered the cookbook too for some healthy receipes and even got a great Tilapia receipe today from a friend. Thank you all for the encouragement!   2. hey i can tell you some great snack! one sugar free jello, hundred calorie popcorn bag its a small one, trail mix bars, dole fruit cups they are only 80 calories and they are not sweetend, campbells mini chicken noodle soup cups for on the go, it helps because only 80 calories but warm so keeps you full.and of course fruits and veggies but my fav is whey protein! hope that helps! i understand your struggle because even though i know about these snacks, i dont always eat them!
